Meet Dr. Neil A.deLeeuw, M.D., F.A.C.S
Dr. deLeeuw is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon practicing in an accredited plastic surgery center conveniently located in Delaware, minutes from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. Dr. deLeeuw is known throughout the Delaware Valley as the expert in breast and body contouring. Dr. deLeeuw is a member of the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery as well as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. deLeeuw exclusively performs cosmetic procedures such as breast enhancement, liposuction, tummy tuck, brazilian butt lift and facial rejuvenation.
Dr. deLeeuw completed his undergraduate education at the University of Santa Clara in California in the pre-med program. He then transferred to Baylor College of Medicine, where he received his M.D. He completed his internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. After completing a three-year residency in general surgery, Dr. deLeeuw then completed a plastic surgery residency at Louisiana State University Medical College.
Over the years, Dr. deLeeuw has actively participated in the teaching program for the surgical residents of the Medical Center of Delaware. He has also been called upon as a presenter for various medical groups, such as the nursing program of the University of Delaware, as well as other professional and civic groups in the area.
On the personal side, Dr. deLeeuw’s interests include gourmet food and a love for cooking. For several years he has been a volunteer chef for the March of Dimes Gourmet Gala event. He has a wife, Gail, and five children: Jason, Peter, Hillary, Katherine and Alison.
