| Nose reshaping provides a more balanced facial appearance. Because individual facial structure and aesthetic perception is different, it is helpful to utilize computer imaging prior to your procedure to enable you to preview your results. Facial rejuvenation procedures restore natural, youthful fullness to your face through a variety of minimally invasive procedures. The MACS lift, which is similar to a LifeStyle lift, improves the neck, jowl and cheek area without making an incision under the chin. The MACS lift is less invasive than a traditional facelift, thus allowing for minimal discomfort and less recovery time. The MACS lift can be performed alone or in conjunction with other procedures such as an upper or lower eyelift. Eyelift removes puffiness and excess skin around the orbit. Lower lid puffiness can sometimes be treated with no external incision. Facial rejuvenation procedures are always enhanced by excellent skin care. Our licensed aesthetician provides skin treatments including glycolic peels, salicylic peels, the Innovative Facial by IS Clinical, and microdermabrasion. The aesthetician will also advise you on an at home skin care regime to maximize your results. Combining peels and a high quality at home program will improve your overall skin texture, reducing fine lines, hyperpigmentation and acne. Our Physician supervised skin care program provides products more effective than those available in department stores, but comparably priced. Other non-surgical procedures, such as BOTOX, Radiesse and Restylane provide a refreshed appearance with no down time. BOTOX relaxes muscles that cause forehead lines, crows feet and other expression lines creating a smooth, rested appearance. Restylane is an excellent treatment for fine lines and plumping the lips. Radiesse is another injectable filler that is long lasting and very effective for filling in the nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Fat injection can also be used for lip enhancement and to fill the nasolabial folds. Your own fat is removed from an area such as the abdomen or the thigh and transferred to fill in hollow areas. The FRAXEL laser is used at our Delaware center to treat fine lines, acne scars, pigmentation, melasma and overall skin texture. FRAXEL laser treatments are performed with topical anesthetic cream. Most patients are able to have a treatment and resume normal activities the next day. In addition to the FRAXEL laser, we offer laser hair removal, PhotoFacials, and CO2 laser resurfacing. Laser hair removal provides permanent hair reduction on most areas of the body. PhotoFacials utilize Intense Pulsed Light to improve facial redness and pigmentation on the face, chest and hands. CO2 laser resurfacing provides skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, and evens out pigmentation for patients with severe sun damage and advanced wrinkling. VitaMedica: Helping you Heal Faster It is widely understood that wound healing, whether from accidental injury or surgery, is impeded by nutritional deficiencies. Because it is our goal to promote wound healing as quickly as possible, we have incorporated nutritional supplements into our pre and post operative care. Patients are instructed to discontinue all supplements for 2 weeks prior to surgery because of the potential risk of bleeding or anesthesia interactions with their supplements.
